Dear Listeners and Readers

These Saints is finally done and sitting in my living room and it’s ready for you to listen to. I approach this moment with a mixture of excitement and fear. Excitement because I have long prayed for these songs, and prayed for you as my listeners that those who need to hear the lyrics will hear them. Fear because I’m aware that what you will hear in these songs is a story that doesn’t make complete sense and I know it might not be understood. 

But that’s okay. 

This album is an attempt at giving a thousand pieces of a broken heart away. Because, after all, that’s what broken hearts are meant for — to be given away one piece at a time.  

I can’t wait for you to hear these songs, this story, this piece of my heart that I am giving to you. I trust it will give you hope and help you to come to know our Father’s heart better. 

The God I’m coming to know is full of grace and compassion. It is my sincere prayer that These Saints will be a conduit through which that grace can flow to you.
