Free Music & Stuff to Do at Home
It’s here, folks.
These Saints is out on all your favorite streaming platforms (except Pandora. I don’t know why that one is taking so long). Included in this post are some links you’ll want to click to listen to the whole thing now for free. :-) Nothing like some music to help you cry while you have time at home.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m loving these days at home. I was scheduled to be in California, Washington Arizona, and New Mexico during these weeks helping at a youth convention and doing music at several other conventions. Instead I’m sitting at my wooden desk in my cozy room, surrounded by books and sunshine and a spring daffodil gifted to me by my mother.
These days are a rare gift — moments to love better the things that are familiar and often taken for granted. I’m trying to breathe deep and take it all in and be a good steward of this time that we are forced to feel in full. Sewing, cleaning, reading, writing, practicing instruments (notice I did not mention cooking), among many other things. (However, if I do try cooking you can be sure you’ll hear about it).
Coming up on the blog will be some behind-the-song stories for some of the tracks on These Saints. I’ll be starting with “Things You Took Away” this weekend since I keep hearing from listeners about that one.
If there’s one you want to hear about soon, please reach out to me!
For now, stay safe and love those closest to you. Oh, and listen to some good music while you’re at it. Be sure to share what you like.
Reminder:
If you’re doing bulk ordering of 5 copies or more, please contact me directly about discounted pricing.
And in case you run out, I’m still offering a free square of toilet paper with every album purchased (for example, 4 CDs = 4 squares of toilet paper).
